Efficient BER estimation for simulation of coherent transmission systems including digital signal processing and forward-error-correction

　　We show how the Importance Sampling method can be used to accurately estimate the bit-error-rate of coherent transmission systems including digital signal processing and forwarderror-correction under non-AWGN channel assumption.
