Meta-materials with zero refractive index

摘要：

　　We show that two/three-dimensional photonic crystals with accidental-degeneracyinduced conical dispersion at k=0 derived from monopole and dipole excitations (electric and magnetic dipoles) can serve as zero-refractive-index materials with simultaneously zero permittivity and permeability.
