Ultra-low loss fiber for 100G-based trans-oceanic transmission

摘要：

　　In order to realize trans-oceanic high capacity transmissions,the lowering of transmission loss of optical fiber is crucially important.In this paper,recent realization of puresilica-core fibers having 0.15dB/km at 1550nm is discussed.
