A Fiber Figure of Merit for Uncompensated Nyquist-WDM Links Employing EDFA and/or Distributed Raman Amplification

　　We quantify the effect of fiber parameters on the performance of uncompensated Nyquist-WDM links via analytical approaches.We propose a fiber figure-of-merit for systems employing EDFA and/or distributed Raman.Its predictions agree with analytical results.
