摘要：

　　Active layers directly-bonded onto thin-silicon-film exhibits good confinement~15%and requires compact(<60μm) mode-transformer.DFB laser-on-thin-silicon-film study shows superior flexibility in designing coupling coefficient to reduce threshold current and increase slope efficiency by~2×-5×,compared to prior-arts.
