Effects of Sleep Period Limitation on ONU Power Saving in QoS-Aware Cyclic Sleep Control
We discuss the effects of sleep period limitation on the quality of service (QoS) and the power-saving performance of an Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) system when our proposed QoS-aware cyclic sleep controller is used.
