In-Plane Mid-Infrared Optical Absorption of Graphene on Silicon-on-Sapphire Waveguides
We present the optical absorption study of graphene on silicon-on-sapphire waveguide in the mid-infrared region (2.75 μm wavelength).The waveguide loss of~0.024 dB/μm was measured which agrees with the finite element method simulations.
