Characterization of in-line interferometric temperature sensors in two-mode fibers

  We have experimentally demonstrated interferometric temperature sensors in two-mode fiber (TMF).A wavelength-temperature coefficient of-43.232 pm / ℃ has been characterized.Compared with the wavelength-temperature sensitivity of single-mode fiber (SMF) sensor,TMF sensor has its advantages of high sensitivity.
