Study on Supersonic Flow Covering Various Flow Regimes Past Bicone Using Gas-kinetic Unified Algorithm

  With the theory and computational principle of the Gas-kinetic Unified Algorithm (GKUA) based on the Boltzmann equation for various flow regimes,the effect of rotational non-equilibrium is investigated by the aid of Rykov model,in which the spin movement of gas molecule is described by the moment of inertia,then the numerical method of Boltzmann model equation involving rotational non-equilibrium effect is developed.As the applications,the supersonic flows around a bicone are simulated to validate this numerical method in various flow regimes.
