Fully Implicit Approach for Flow/Kinetic Coupled Problems Based on Dynamic Hybrid Mesh

  A fully implicit approach for the coupling solution of N-S equations and six degree of freedom (6-DOF) dynamic equations based on dynamic hybrid mesh method are presented.During time marching,N-S equations,6DOF dynamic equations are calculated interactively in sub-iteration steps to obtain a synchronized result,meanwhile the dynamic hybrid grids are generated with the moving boundary.Typical test cases validate the robustness and accuracy of this coupling approach.Several time schemes are tested,and the superior stability of strong coupling solver is demonstrated.Finally,two preliminary applications of this coupling approach are carried out,including the S-type starting of an undulating fish model and the maneuvering of a missile.
