Progress of Virtual Flux Method for Flow Problems in Engineering and Bioengineering Fields
This paper describes recent progress of virtual ux method for simulating uid- structure interaction problems.In the method,numerical ux across the uid-structure interface is replaced with the virtual ux so that proper interface conditions must be satised on xed Cartesian grid.The method can easily solve the interaction problems with large deformation of the interfaces.Versatility and reliability of the method are demonstrated with its application for the interaction problems in the elds of engineering and biomedical engineering.
