An Architecture and a Platform for Recording and Replaying the Healthcare Information
The hospital domain requires practitioners to retain operational records so as to inspect their day-to-day medical activities in future.Authors previous research indicated that by employing the Scenario–Oriented ApproaCH (SOACH) equipped with the recording and replaying mechanism, information systems have the ability to record the changing history of information units, and then replay such histories as a flow of information scenarios under users request. This paper extends authors previous research and proposes an architecture and a platform, called Scenario–Oriented PlatForm (SOPF),which is implemented by following the proposed architecture,to demonstrate the applicability of the SOACH.The SOPF aims to manage the scenario in a computerized way so as to support the replaying capability of healthcare information systems. The Microalbuminuria Protocol (MAP) is used as an example in this paper to evaluate the SOPF.Based on experimental results,day-to-day medical activities can be replayed as a continuous and on-the-fly information scenario for a specified duration of time.
