Modeling of a New Brake by Wire System Based on the Direct-Drive Electro-Hydraulic Brake Unit
A new brake-by-wire system based on direct-drive electro-hydraulic brake (DDEHB) unit was designed for vehicle to improve braking performance.A comprehensive brake-by- wire system including this new unit which was set up and its structure and principles were introduced detailed in part Ⅱ.Then the dynamic model of DDEHB was studied by detailed studying the movement of piston and plunger when braking in part Ⅲ.At last a Simulink model based on section Ⅲ was established using Mathlab/Simulink and Mathlab/Stateflow in part Ⅳ,and the reliability of model was testified by simulation.The simulation results showed that this novel brake unit can rapidly respond and improve braking performance significantly.
