The experimental investigation of temperature rise rate of neighboring tank surface under fire conditions
In this work, two large oil tank models with 60 cm or 80 cm diameter and 60 cm height are built to study the temperature rise rate of neighboring tank surface with different filling rate.In order to study the temperature rise rate of the neighboring tank surface which is at different location on the neighboring tank surface, both the theory analysis and experiments are considered. It is found that the temperature rise rate of the neighboring tank surface is proportional to the heat radiation. An estimated model has been developed for the temperature rise rate. The data calculated by this model has also been obtained to verifiy compliance with the experimental data, and the results show that it fits well.
