Operation of New Generation Steel Producing Process in Shougang Jingtang United Iron and Steel Company

　　The new generation steel producing process characterized by three main functions as producing clean steel product,energy conversion with high efficiency,and treating,consuming,recycling of industrial waste has been constructed in Shougang Jingtang United Iron and Steel Company.The basic principles before design were set up as quick,stable,continuous,and large scale production of high clean steel with low cost.The characteristics and main operation results of steelmaking workshop were introduced in detail in this paper because many advanced steelmaking technologies comprising One Ladle Technology(OLT),KR type hot metal desulfurization technology,De-P + De-C converter steelmaking technology,high circulation rate twin-vessel RH degasser and high speed continuous casting technology were adopted.The operation results of such technologies and the cleanliness of typical steel grades are described at the end.It shows that basic principles are well realized during industrial production of steelmaking workshop.
