Novel Experimental Research about Electric Furnace Flue Gas
Taking samples from a steel mill for measuring electric furnace flue gas temperature,composition variation and thermal discharge,it was concluded that flue gas temperature would gradually reduce along with the direction of smoke evacuation.Flue gas composition,temperature change is complicated and uncertain in a smelting cycle.Their variations are connected with the operation conditions and chemical reaction of electric arc furnace.Temperature of electric furnace cover outlet temperature and combustion chamber outlet first increases and then decreases and increases again with smelting making progress,respectively.At this time,thermal discharge is less than 0 before it is greater than 0.
