A Novel Concept of RH Degassing Process with Powder Injection through the Nozzles of Snorkel

　　A novel decarburization process in RH degassing vacuum (named as RH-AS) has been put forward and the plant trials have been carried out and the ruling factors of the decarburization process of RH-AS have been analyzed.The results indicate that decarburization reaction can take place after RH-AS treatment and decarburization process can be accelerated,which results in the decarburization period shortening for at least 3 min.Enlargement of interfacial area was considered to be the main decarburization mechanism.
