Fundamental Study on Inclusions Behavior Controlling in Heat-Resistant Steel Containing Rare Earth Elements

  A coupled model including the thermodynamic model of inclusions precipitation during solidification was presented.Afterwards the accuracy of the model was validated according the literature reports and physical simulation experiments.Then extensional calculations were carried out and some valuable results are obtained as follows.The stable ability order of inclusions at 1500℃ is Ce2O2S,Ce2O3,CeS.SiO2,MnS and CeN can form during the cooling and solidification of 253MA steel.The oxygen and sulfur content should be lower than 0.003%and 0.006%.
