Thermodynamics of Evaporation of Fe and Fe-C at Temperatures Up to 2200℃

　　Here you find results on measurement of vaporization rate and Fe vapor pressure under free vaporization in vacuum 10-3Pa.Values of p o Fe and ΔH o 298 are calculated based on measured vaporization rate using Hertz-Knudsen equation.Iron activity rate in Fe-C melts is calculated based on the rate of iron vaporization from Fe-C melts under up to 2200℃ in the flow of argon.The equation for Fe vapor pressure above Fe-C melts is derived.
