Development on the Process of IF Steel by BOF-RH-CC Medium Thin Slab Casting Route
In the study a particular technology has been developed successfully for producing IF steels in medium thin slab casting process of TangSteel,some key techniques in the process have been proposed and implemented in order to realize steady production,including optimization of the charging rules of BOF,increase of the tapping temperature,improvement in the controlling accuracy of carbon and oxygen contents before tapping,and in RH procedure,reducing the aluminum consumption of degassing treatment,determining the optimum mode of circulation and stabilizing the ladle slag,and in the casting process,perfecting the performance of refractory and optimizing the SENs structure to improve the flow field in mold.Due to these practices,the steel cleanness and casting ability have been improved pronouncedly,and conflicts between temperature and cleanness of liquid steel have been overcome remarkably.
