The Ways to Enhance the Employment and Business-starting Capacity of University Engineering Students in a New Situation
The employment of university students has become a more and more serious issue in a situation of mass education.Therefore, how to improve the employment capacity of university engineering students turns to be a significant task confronting us.In this paper, we put forward the ways to enhance the employment and business-starting capacity of university students upon the analysis of its connotation.They are as follows: merging the cultivation of employment capacity into the classroom teaching;integrating practice resources so as to promote the skilled employment capacity;cultivating the capacity of students occupation planning and job application depending on the course of Occupation Development and Employment Guidance for University Students;setting up a Supermarket for elevating their employment capacity;opening Qiuzhen Business-starting Zone,encouraging students to start business there;carrying out social practice to improve their social adaptability;enhancing the educational function of campus culture to bring about the advance of their growth.
