Discussion on the Teaching Method of Soil Mechanics
Soil mechanics is an academic discipline that has strong practicality and technicality.As the one of the most important professional basic course of civil engineering, which is used widely whether in study or in work.This paper proceeds with characteristics of soil mechanics, and in view of the problem of the college students that fear on the soil mechanics due to the psychology of fear o mechanics courses, how to arouse students interest in soil mechanics and how to make the students understand, grasp and apply the corresponding knowledge, thus improving the quality of teaching, are discussed based on the several years of teaching experience.
