Analysis and Simulation of Signal Integrity of High Speed Electrical Connector
High speed signal connectors are the key parts of the whole system affecting the quality of signal transmission, they have become the bottleneck of increasing the transmission rate.In this paper, a high speed-micro-high density electrical connector is chosen as the object to analyze the signal integrity performance parameters such as impedance, crosstalk, loss and field distribution, with high frequency structure simulator HFSS.The simulation results are obtained as follows: maintaining short spacing of one differential pair and large spacing of various differential pairs, or installing shielded wire can improve connector high speed signal transmission performance.
