The Influence of Sol-Gel Method on the Anti-Arc Erosion Performance of Ag/SnO2 Electrical Contact Materials
A kind of Ag/SnO2 electrical contact materials adding rare earth oxide were prepared by sol-gel and powder metallurgy method.The electrical parameters of influencing anti-welding performance were tested by electric contact material tester JF04C.In order to analyze the influence of electrical parameters on the anti-are erosion performance, the study focuses on the 40 AC contactor, temperature rise and connecting and breaking capability tests were made according to GB14048.4-2010.The temperature rise of the contact terminals were measured by thermocouple.The surface microstructures, morphology were analyzed by scanning electron microscope after the test.The comparison and analysis of the test results show that the electrical parameters of Ag/SnO2 electrical contact materials which were made by sol-gel method were lower.The lower electrical parameters can help to improve the anti-arc erosion performance of Ag/SnO2 electrical contact materials.
