Effects of Minor Different Additives on Oxidation Process of Ag-Sn Alloy Powders
Ag-9.7Sn (wt %) alloy powders and Ag-9.65Sn-0.5In (wt %) alloy powders and Ag-9.65Sn-0.5Bi alloy powders were synthesized by atomization.Oxidation kinetics curves of Ag-Sn-In alloy powders, Ag-Sn alloy powders, Pure Sn powders and Pure Indium powders were obtained by thermo gravimetric analyzer (TGA).The particle size, surface morphology and surface composition of Ag-Sn-In alloy powders before and after oxidation were investigated.The results show that add Bi compound promote Ag-Sn powder oxidation, the oxidation mechanism only undergo the rapid of oxidation stage for index increase heavy will tend to be completely oxidation.The oxidation mechanism of the Ag-9.65Sn-0.5In alloy like Ag-Sn alloys.Rapid oxidation mass gain process of Ag-Sn-In alloy powders is divided into two periods, and the former is faster than the latter.Micro additive In could promote rapid oxidation mass gain.Uniform dense oxide film is formed after In and Sn being oxidized, which hinder the second period of rapid oxidation mass gain process.
