Optimization of 220kV CVT with Series Saturated Reactor Damper
Based on 220kV capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) equivalent circuit, a model of ferromagnetic resonance damping of CVT with series saturation reactor damper is built, with which a damp condition is derived theoretically.Combined with the data of 220kV CVT obtained from Jiangsu Wuxi Nissin co., LTD, the value of damp resistance is calculated.Simulation results are consistent with the experimental, which is shown that the proposed theory is validated and it can be use to design CVT with no Ferro-resonance under certain condition.
