Research of The Fault Diagnosis For Gas Insulated Substation

　　The insulation damage is the main fault for gas insulated substation(GIS).The partial discharges act as the advancing performance of damage to the inner insulation of GIS, and the damage is different for these types of partial discharge, so it is necessary for the diagnosis and recognition of partial discharge.This article mainly studies the properties of several typical partial discharges, and spectrum feature is used as recognition parameter;Basing on this it designs the partial discharge identification scheme basing on BP neural network, and expounds the key problems;Finally the discharge monitoring and diagnostic system is proposed based on embedded system, and the function and design idea of each part are given.The proposed scheme and the designed system realize the recognition of partial discharge fault.
