Effects of Additives on the Wettability of AgSnO2 Contact Material

  As the contact material, AgCdO is most likely to be replaced by AgSnO2.AgSnO2 has been widely used in low-voltage electrical.Six kinds of additives are selected in this paper.Proportions of each component of the additive and SnO2 are divided into 1∶11,2∶10 and 3∶9.The wetting angles of Eighteen kinds of AgSnO2 experimental material are measured by sessile drop method.By measuring the wettability, not all of these six additives can improve the wettability of the AgSnO2 contact material.Only Ti2O3, La2O3, and CuO additives have significantly improved the wettability.With the increase of the levels of these three additives, the wettability between Ag and SnO2 has been improved greatly.
