Research on Contact Failure Mechanism of Railway Signal Relay Contacts

摘要：

　　Contact failure is major failure mode of the railway signal relay.The can tact failure of railway signal relay has been analyzed in this paper, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) has been applied for analyzing surface topography and material components of the contact under different conditions.The major influence factor of contact resistance of the railway signal relay has been analyzed, and the corresponding solutions have been proposed.
