Anti-dynamic Pressure Overloads Performance and Detonation Characteristics of Emulsion Explosives Sensitized by MgH2
Traditional emulsion explosives have pressure desensitization and low explosion power problems in utilization.In order to improve performance of emulsion explosives,MgH2 sensitized emulsion explosive was invented.This type of emulsion explosives is sensitized by hydrogen storage material MgH2,emulsion matrix will be sensitized in the process of detonation,and it is a dynamic sensitization.This special sensitization method makes emulsion explosives charged with a high density,which improves the explosion power density of blasting.Whats more,dynamic sensitization can solve the safety problems of emulsion explosives in transportation and storage.Underwater explosion experiments and brisance testing experiments show that hydrogen sensitized of emulsion explosives has excellent anti-pressure ability,compared with Glass Microspheres sensitized of emulsion explosives,the shockwave total energy and peak pressure of hydrogen sensitized of emulsion explosives respectively increased over 30% and 20%,and the brisance of hydrogen sensitized of emulsion explosives even reaches 23mm in recent study.
