Aesthetic Ideology of the Li Garden in Kaiping

　　As a representative of overseas Chinese gardens, the Li Garden is greatly influenced by combinations of Chinese and Western aesthetic ideas of the overseas Chinese culture.Many western techniques and symbols are used in the gardening and appearance-designing, making its space constitution different from traditional Chinese private garden.And it shapes a unique style, which is the reflection of value and aesthetic orientation of overseas Chinese in Kaiping.The most important garden aesthetic ideology of the Li Garden is the blending of Chinese and western culture.And its main aesthetic characteristics are open and compatible, pragmatic and varied, and innovative.The richness in its style is the most typical artistic feature of the garden.The Li Garden is indeed a paragon of harmonious combination of the Chinese and foreign cultures.
