A Study on the Changes and Factors of Spatial Composition of Huangpu Park, Shanghai

摘要：

　　This study clarifies the transformation of Huangpu Park gradually developing from British style exhibiting garden for horticulture to field for outdoor activities then to Chinese style park mainly with political and commemorative space, and finally a plaza.Having a special geographical location and a special role in urban green space system, Huangpu Parks transformation has been affected by external factors including urban planning, economy, politics as well as by its internal factors such as the number of visitors, landscape architecture cultures and construction technologies.
