Study on Eco-landscape of Geomantic Woods in Liantang Village
As one of the inheritances over millennium in China, Geomantic Woods have two sides of attribute, both natural and cultural characteristics.On one hand, they are stable populations, on the other, they have been protected by the villagers who are pursuing the ideal environment because of the Fengshui theory.Besides, Geomantic Woods show their specific appearances in a certain mode which containing the human-nature harmony theory.Thus, Geomantic woods have been highly thought as the heritage full of ecological and cultural values.Moreover, when studying the inter structure of Geomantic Woods, we could understand how are these extraordinary populations affecting eco-landscape, and designing the ecological landscape for the modern people as well.
