Study on the Vernacular Landscape Language System Building in Village Construction
In todaysvillage construction process, the plan of vernacular landscape has been mostly using the way of copying and putting together the traditional symbols, which leads to the lack of cultural meaning.This paper uses semiotic theory for reference and takes a basic framework of syntactics, semantics and pragmatics to explore the vernacular landscape language system building and expression, in order to provide a new approach for analysis and presentation of the cultural meaning in vernacular landscape planning.Syntactic refers to the structure of vernacular landscape language, semantics represents the meaning of vernacular landscape language, and pragmatics corresponds to the relationship between vernacular landscape language and people.Only the readable and understandable landscape shaped by the mutual influence between behavior and environment can be the complete vernacular landscape closely integrated with peoples life.
