A Review of Urban Open Space Development Models
The increasingly development of urban areas has brought s series issues of man-land relationship.How to understand the relationship between human and land, how to treat the land ethic,and how to resolve the contradiction between human and land are problems that landscape designers have to face to.The strategy of open space development, as one of the important means of dealing with the relationship between human and land, gains more and more concern and attention.Different development models are deduced from different historical periods and different manland relationship.The article reviews the development models of urban open space, analyses and summarizes the historical background of each model, feature attributes and value ethics, and reveals the external and the internal factors that will promote the evolution of the development patterns, thus to review the development models at a deeper level.
