An Analysis of Weight and Priority Order of Elements for Planning Age-friendly City According to Types of City

  As deriving 12 elements for planning based on literary works and experts survey, this research conducted a questionnaire consisting of questions concerning about elements for planning age-friendly city;and each question was answered within a 4-point scale.The same questionnaire was provided five times to 144 respondents in total, and each time 36 respondents were selected from different groups including the groups related to the fields of architecture, welfare and medicine.Moreover, this research derived both priority order and weight, which should be applied to each element for planning, and then, analyzed the relativity between two.As a result of the analysis, some elements that should be applied to development of a new city in advance were representing the same tendency with the result of an analysis on improvement of declining city.This means that some modifications are needed in the following matters-satisfaction of the elderlys needs for high quality of housing and outer space, safe circumstance, and social programs and basic institutions that are to enrich their lives.
