Unity and Harmony of Traditional Chinese Culture in Architectural Design

摘要：

　　In the context of engineering practice, the paper intends to explore the application of the values of unity and harmony, the essence of the traditional Chinese culture, in architectural design, and highlights the significance of the traditional Chinese culture to contemporary Chinese architectural design, presenting that the manifestation of the traditional Chinese culture in contemporary Chinese architecture is the only way for solving problems of the contemporary Chinese architecture, and advocating the integration of the traditional Chinese culture and modern architectural design idea to pursue the Chinese architectural culture with characteristics of the time.
