Measurement of Knowledge-based Architectural Design Work Environment Level
The knowledge-based architectural design work environment is defined as the work environment that can accumulate and share a lot of knowledge generated in the process of architectural design.The purpose of this study is to measure knowledge-based architectural design work environment by studying work environment and technology elements of advanced design offices and predict the future design environment based on this.To this end, a questionnaire was developed for the measurement of architectural design work environment.As the research process, we first examined a previous study A Study on Development of Knowledge Information-based Utilization Level Measurement Model of Domestic Architectural Design Work Environment.Second, we surveyed future design technology elements to match 31 items of the measurement model with specific technology elements.Third, we developed future design technology elements applied measurement items and improved them by taking advice from experts.Fourth, we developed a questionnaire.Through this study, by putting work environment technology items of advanced design offices and technology items expected in future design environment together, we proposed final building of knowledge-based architectural design work environment as the purpose.
