Efficient circulation system for space activation in Mixed-use complex
The target of the study is mixed-use shopping complex and the scope of the study is indoor pedestrian circulation system.For the study, status review and traffic volume analysis are performed by four case studies.Second, pedestrian flow is analyzed focusing on path, gate, central area, and E/S.Third, the efficient circulation plan how to increase pedestrian volume is derived considering space characteristics.As a result, the space activation is tightly related to the pedestrian traffic volume and the following circulation plan is required: first, gate is connected to subway station.Second, simple circulation system between central area and subway station gate is needed to flow in pedestrians.Third, E/S should be planned in central area.
