The Possibility of Formation of Commons for Cultural Heritage
The purpose of this study: To find good sustainable balance between maintenance & utilization of cultural heritage, tourism and regional vitalization, the author wants to hear build a model with a focus on a community-building form called commons, as one hypothesis and a general-purpose model.To accomplish these ends, on this paper the author tries to taking up examples of preservation railway functioning well as system of commons and thinks we can apply this success point to a case of architecture.Historical architecture and heritage railway look decidedly different but are fundamentally same in the point that they need support to maintain it and with this view it is necessary that an effective cooperation with the field of tourism.It was found;the key-elements for formation of commons around the cultural heritage will be existence of volunteer and experts,sharing common space and supports by fans.Besides, also in Japan people may have a concrete interest in maintain our cultural heritage.It will be necessary to devise it to show it in a visualized frame called commons.The future direction of this study will be doing accurate inspection in the just case of historical architecture.
