Cultural Inheritance and Urban renewal--Planning Practice From Jiaxing

　　The key problem of urban renewal is to deal with the function development and cultural inheritance.This article, taking Jiaxings organic renewal planning practice as an example, aims to explore the renewal strategies and methods of the Historical and Cultural City of Jiaxing, and to discuss the realistic conflict and planning coordination in regard to the context inheritance and functional renewal in urban renewal projects, as well as the mission of creating city features by taking advantage of the cultural inheritance.
