Suggestions on the Selection of Seismic Performance Objective of Out-of-code High-rise Structures

摘要：

　　To establish the seismic performance objective and performance design indexes of out-of-code high-rise structures, the following factors including but not limited to the out-of-code degree of the structure, fortification intensity, social economic level, construction cost, potential direct and indirect losses caused by earthquakes shall be taken into overall consideration in order to reach a reasonable balance between safety and economy.This paper summarizes the factors that shall be considered when establishing the seismic performance index of out-of-code high-rise structure, and puts forward suggestions on the selection of seismic performance objective and performance design indexes and pilot calculation requirements and adjustment methods of structural components performance design index under different fortification levels (frequent earthquake,fortification earthquake and rare earthquake).
