An Analysis of the Effectiveness of Anti-Scattering Agent through the characteristics of asbestos scattering of asbestos-tex in the event of a fire
To this effectiveness, asbestos fiber concentration in the air was analyzed by applying fire factors after spraying anti-scattering agent on the surface of asbestos-tex.Wind was set as an environmental factor that was able to induce asbestos scattering and experiment was carried out on the 3 situations: general situation, in a fire and falling from the ceiling after a fire. The measured indoor asbestos concentration of test group treated with anti-scattering agent(0.002f/ec, 0.006f/cc, 0.009f/cc) decreased compared with those of them of test group not treated with anti-scattering agent(0.006f/cc, 0.01 lf/cc, 0.014f/cc).The results suggested the anti-scattering effectiveness decreases in a fire (45.2%) and when the asbestos-tex falls after a fire(39.2%) compared with those in general situation(67.5%).
