Study on the phase change of rich potassium-lithium electrolyte and the analysis of bath ratio
Due to the depletion of bauxite ,the lithium and Potassium content in the bath keep rising and the composition of the bath tend to be complex to make the solid phase structure of the bath more complicated.Using X-Ray diffraction to determine the bath ratio under these situation will cause big deviation.Researches show in the complex bath lithium exist in the form of Na2LiAlF6, LiNa2AlF6 and the alkaline phase LiF;Potassium in the form K2NaA1F6.NaF reacting with the LiF or KF in the cryolite-like phase make the X-Ray diffraction testing result higher than actual. With the bath ratio rising ,detecting sub cryolite phase will be harder.Besides the higher the lithium content ,the narrower detecting limit when using X-Ray diffraction to test bath ratio, and bigger the result deviation.
