Research on Knowledge Acquisition of Complex Product Design Based on the Spiral Iterative Method

  In complex product design, one particular knowledge acquisition method is often limited because it cannot be adopted to obtain different knowledge at different design phases.In the meantime, the spiral iterative method can support cyclic iteration way to acquire different kinds of knowledge in the whole process of product design.Therefore, in this paper, we propose a knowledge acquisition method in complex product design that combines with spiral iterative method, which will make the knowledge acquisition in the whole process of complex product design more effectively.With empirical research in the case of knowledge acquisition research in gun tube design, we demonstrate that this method for knowledge acquisition in complex product design is effective.
