Satellite Formation Flying using Low Thrusters and Solar Sail
An automatic formation flying control using low thrusters is proposed in this paper.To use continuous thrusters,dynamics of orbit elements are derived based on Gauss variational equations.To reduce the fuel consumption and compose the formation in more efficient way,Solar sail is suggested as a support actuator.The cone/clock angles of the sail normal vector are given by a least square approach.
