Development and Analysis of Project Based Learning Constructing Indoor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Aircraft are complicated systems and it is important for students to experience building real aircraft and flying tests in aeronautical engineering education. But it is difficult to do real activities especially at Japanese universities. In order to cope with this difficulty, this paper shows the Project Based Learning(PBL)performed at the University of Tokyo. In this project students design, build and fly original Indoor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(Indoor UAV)and obtain multidisciplinary skills. In order to clarify the awareness of the students,we obtain a series of questionnaires from students. This paper analyses the change of the consciousness of them and evaluates the effectiveness of the project.
