Prediction of Large Deformation on Wing for Array Antenna Signal Compensation

  Large deformation of wing during flight is predicted to compensate signal of array antenna embedded on the wing of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV).In this paper,the nonlinear displacement prediction algorithm(NDPA)based on the strain data is developed to predict wing displacement.Simple beam structure is chosen as wing structure and displacement is predicted using strain data.The NDPA utilizes strain data which is measured from strain gauges and is used to predict wing deformation.Predicted displacements are compared with measured values from laser displacement sensor.The simulation was conducted to compensate the antenna signal using the measured displacements.
