Potential hazard analysis of mining-stripping operations in open-pit mine based on fault tree analysis

To analyze effectively potential hazard analysis of mining-stripping operations in open-pit mine used the analysis method of fishbone diagram to determine the factors of stope slope instability that they were geological factors, design factors, factors of water, mining technology, management factors, shock factor;Blasting disasters, possible ways landslide landslides occurred and the measures to be respectively taken and analyzed by fault tree method, Fault tree analysis of blasting accident has 21 minimal cut sets, the degree of risk as follows: initiation or sensitivity of blasting material, staff no-evacuating blasting area, personnel straying into the blasting danger zone, blasting operational errors and other basic events.Fault tree analysis of Slope instability has 10 minimal cut sets, which the bearing of the slope strength over load limit is the most important factor, and the other 10 basic events are also an important cause of the slope of the accident.
