Application of the maximum stress theory and roadway support practice in Australian collieries
In order to achieve a better understand of roadway support and reinforcement in high stress weak strata, author states support strategies which had been widely used in Australian collieries.Base on working and studying experiences in Australia, the author introduces the support theories, guiding ideology, support consumables and equipments of roadway supporting and reinforcement in Australian collieries.The paper focuses on aspects which could helps in collieries in Huainan coalfield.Such as the maximum horizontal stress theory, image logging, overcore stress relief and support equipments.
